Airlines' financial struggles may create opportunities for turboprops

Airlines trying to trim their costs may be more willing to use turboprop planes on short trips. Saab Aircraft Leasing President and CEO Michael Magnusson said turboprops are the best choice for flights less than 200 miles, and noted that Continental Airlines is interested in adding more of the planes to its fleet.
