Kennedy family contributes to Boston park corridor

The Kennedy family is making a $1 million contribution to fund a Boston-area greenway named for Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy. The greenway will put a corridor of parks in place of Big Dig construction sites, and the conservancy running the effort says it now has about $6.3 million of the $50 million it needs to properly care for the parks.
