P&G: Pringles free of prohibited additive

Procter & Gamble Co. confirmed Friday that its Pringles potato chips are not made with potassium bromate, a flour-enhancing additive forbidden in China. The company issued the statement after Chinese state media reported that authorities refused to import a batch of chips in July because it contained the banned substance.
