Faced with an undeniable drop in consumer consumption of carbonated soft drinks, the big beverage companies are developing new strategies to keep their businesses fizzing. Coca-Cola Co.'s CEO says the new Coca-Cola Zero is "central to driving sparkling beverage leadership," while PepsiCo is redesigning packaging and graphics, as well as introducing a broad range of carbonated and noncarbonated beverages.
