Babbitt sees "dramatic" benefits from NextGen stimulus

Federal stimulus funds could still be used to help airlines upgrade their cockpits with NextGen avionics, FAA Administrator Randy Babbitt said Tuesday. If TARP funds were to help shave three to four years off the implementation of NextGen, "the benefits would be pretty dramatic," Babbitt said, while stressing that no such decision has been made by the administration.
