Diet high in soy protein is tied to improved cancer survival

A diet rich in soy protein appears to lessen the risk of cancer recurrence or mortality. A study of breast cancer survivors in China found that those who ate the most tofu, soy milk and other sources of soy protein reduced their risk of dying by 29% and their risk of recurrence by 32%, compared with those who had the lowest intake of soy.
