Florida legislation will fund rail projects

The Florida Senate on Tuesday followed the lead of the House and passed legislation that will help fund the SunRail commuter rail line and other passenger rail projects in the state. Gov. Charlie Crist said he will sign the legislation, which also includes provisions aimed at attracting $2.5 billion in stimulus funds for a high-speed rail line and a funding mechanism for the state's Tri Rail line.
