Morgan Stanley plans to rein in bonuses, sources say

Morgan Stanley is planning to reduce bonuses for some senior executives, sources said, as the firm deals with turbulent market conditions. Officials at the securities firm have been told to plan for bonuses to be as much as 25% lower, although the plan could change. Morgan Stanley CEO James Gorman has been a vocal critic of Wall Street compensation policies.
