Poll: 53% of owners plan to buy holiday gifts for pets

A new Associated Press-Petside.com poll of 1,000 American owners indicated that 53% intend to buy their pets a gift this holiday, with more women than men intending to buy presents. The poll also found that 56% of dog owners are likely to buy their pets a holiday present, compared with 48% cat owners.
