Helms Candy Co. looks back on 102 years in business

Helms Candy Co. has a colorful 102-year-old history, from starting out as homemade treats sold in a Bristol, Va., grocery store, to its now widely known King Pops, Red Band Candy Canes and Peanut Butter Sticks. Mark Helms, vice president, says his family-owned company takes pride in the art of candy making, and hopes older generations will pass Helms candy on to their children and grandchildren to keep his family's candy tradition alive.
