Can Facebook gobble up brands' TV ad dollars?

Facebook executives often brag that their huge user base lets advertisers tap into the equivalent of three Super Bowls on a daily basis, writes Jim Edwards. Along with a growing emphasis on digital video, and Facebook's social-data tracking advantage, that suggests the social network is trying to eat into TV marketers' ad budgets, Edwards writes. "[I]t appears that Facebook sees TV's old media dollars as ripe for the picking," he adds.
