Nickelodeon is in "much stronger place," Viacom chief says

Nickelodeon, after 10 straight months of ratings growth, "has emerged in a much stronger place," Philippe Dauman, CEO of parent Viacom, said at an investor conference. The children's network has benefited from a reboot of the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" franchise and a new mobile application, Dauman said. Dauman also predicted that an online pay-TV provider would launch next year but didn't provide details.
