Too few ED quality measures stymie potential improvements

A low number of quality measurements and shortage of quality data hinder potential improvements among emergency departments, a Health Affairs article revealed. The results suggest that increasing the number of measurements on care value and effectiveness may boost quality of care in EDs, researchers said.
