Children still fear the schoolyard bully

Despite a drop in the number of crimes committed in schools and the percentage of students who carry weapons on campus, students still report being afraid of bullying. About 10,000 students skipped school at least once a month last year due to bullying, a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention survey shows.
