Edwards' wife says cancer treatment has started, surgery due in March

Elizabeth Edwards, wife of the former Democratic vice presidential candidate John Edwards, says treatment for her breast cancer is well under way, and her chemotherapy already has caused her to lose much of her hair. In an interview Thursday on CNN's "Larry King Live" show, Edwards said there has been "good success" so far in reducing the size of her tumor and she will undergo surgery in March followed by radiation.
