Study: More kids with IBD are obese

New research shows that 20% to 30% of children with ulcerative colitis and 9% to 10% of children with Crohn's disease have a higher-than-normal BMI. Researchers say the findings suggest all children, not just those who are underweight, should be screened if they exhibit symptoms of IBD.
