Advertisers acting unsociable online

According to research firm eMarketer, social networks can expect $1.2 billion in total U.S. ad spending for 2008 -- a downward revision from the researcher's earlier estimate of $1.4 billion. The firm's projection for 2009 is a total of $1.3 billion in U.S. ad spending, down from its earlier estimate of $1.8 billion.
