Kentucky teacher receives prestigious national award

A Kentucky elementary-school teacher is one of more than 80 recipients nationwide of the prestigious Milken Family Foundation National Educator Award. Myra Morgan, who has been a kindergarten teacher at Warsaw's Gallatin County Lower Elementary School for 12 years, was described as a teacher who nurtures her young students while also providing a foundation for them to be successful in "first grade and beyond."
