Ohio teacher builds electric car

A high-school physics teacher in Ohio has turned his 1991 Toyota Celica into a rechargeable electric vehicle. David Abineri, the head of the science department at Cincinnati's Seven Hills School, said he created the car, which runs on one dozen 12-volt batteries, after watching a documentary on electric cars, using his knowledge on the subject and Internet tips to complete the project.
