U.S. sees more deaths from prescription drug overdoses

More people in the U.S. are dying from prescription drug overdoses, mainly painkillers, CDC researchers say. Many of the individuals shop for providers to write multiple painkiller prescriptions or use medications that were not prescribed for them. The researchers cited West Virginia as having a large increase in such unintentional deaths.
