Coalition seeks lower credit card fees

FMI and other members of the Merchants Payments Coalition say regulations to lower credit card fees could free up enough money to create more than 1.9 million jobs. "Consumers and merchants are paying two dollars in interchange fees for every $100 of merchandise that is paid for with plastic," said FMI's Jennifer Hatcher.
