ExxonMobil to defend against overpricing lawsuit from N.J. franchisees

Operators of more than 100 of ExxonMobil's gasoline stations in New Jersey filed a complaint against the company, alleging that it imposes unfairly higher prices on wholesale gasoline and rent. Exxon allegedly manipulates the quantity and timing of fuel deliveries in a way "that has threatened the continued viability of the stations as ongoing businesses," the complaint said. ExxonMobil plans to defend itself against the charge, spokesman Kevin Allexon said.
