A House-Senate conference committee has hammered out differences on an umbrella appropriations bill that includes 2010 funding for the FAA. The compromise bill includes $9.35 billion for FAA operations, $3.5 billion for airport improvement projects and $2.9 billion for facilities and equipment. Another $190.5 million is earmarked for research and development. The measure is expected to pass both chambers by the end of next week.
