Quality of life rebounds after epilepsy diagnosis in youths

Canadian researchers said health-related quality of life declines immediately after children are diagnosed with epilepsy but rebounds to near normal within two years. The study said the reason likely is that children diagnosed between ages 4 and 12 tend to have less severe types of epilepsy.
