A Tuscan garden that gets it right

The Villa Maddalena in the Tuscan hill town of Montisi, Italy, manages to make a big impact with its gardens, thanks to how it uses water. The villa uses two water features -- a goldfish pond and an arching spigot -- to deliver soothing sounds and establish a waterfall theme. The result is a garden that's full of pleasant surprises.
