Reid introduces tax-cut legislation

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., introduced legislation that would extend Bush-era tax cuts for two more years. The measure would maintain reduced tax rates on income, dividends and capital gains. The legislation does not include an extension of the Build America Bonds program. Reid scheduled a procedural vote for Monday. Meanwhile, Democrats in the House rejected the plan.
