Children's app-makers must up their game, FTC says

About 60% of applications aimed at children still collect and transmit device-specific data without parental notification, according to a Federal Trade Commission report. That suggests that app-makers and app-store operators "need to do a better job" to protect children's privacy, the FTC argues.
