A different way to look at the world

People often focus on goals they want to accomplish rather than the feelings they want to experience, but that isn't necessarily the right way to look at the world, writes Lisa Gates, co-founder of She Negotiates. "When we ask ourselves what the desired feeling is that we want to generate at work, in our businesses, or in our relationships -- or what we want to feel when we deal with money -- we come up with words like joy, courage, freedom, peace, abundance, adventure, and fun," she writes.
