Goldman to pay $1.5M fine to settle CFTC case

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission has accused Goldman Sachs of failure to adequately supervise traders and of permitting a futures dealer to conceal the nature of an $8.3 billion position. Goldman agreed to pay a $1.5 million fine to settle the case.
