New Zealand company works on brain-controlled bionic arm

New Zealand company Rex Bionics is developing a brain-controlled bionic arm for stroke sufferers. "It monitors the neuron activities in your brain and it picks up certain patterns and signals, which are translated with your thought patterns," said Wendy Xue, a Massey University student who designed the arm. Still in its early stages, the device may be commercially available in about two years.
