Social media can be an icebreaker in real estate

Commercial real estate agents increasingly are using social media to promote themselves online and to find and introduce themselves to clients. Social media doesn't guarantee a deal, but it makes it easier to contact potential clients, says Sacha Zarba, a broker for CBRE. "I will instantly see who we know in common and get an introduction. ... It makes it warmer," he says.
