VA proposes changes to help veterans affected by TBI

The Veterans Affairs Department is set to publish regulations today that would make it easier for veterans affected by traumatic brain injuries to access health care and receive benefits. Under the changes, diseases such as Alzheimer's and depression would automatically be considered related to military service if they occur in veterans who suffered brain injuries during their military service.
