Will the growth of the cloud undermine its success?

Cloud computing will become so ubiquitous next year that the term itself will gradually fall out of favor, industry experts predict. Analysts say they expect to see more enterprises and consumers drawn into hosted services through new channels, as PCs give way to the use of personal clouds and the line between mobile and hosted services continues to blur. However, the evolution of the cloud will worsen the talent drought as more businesses and consumers compete for a finite pool of resources, IDC says.
