Coalition seeks help to improve in-building communications

In-building communication difficulties can be a big problem for first responders, says Alan Perdue, the new head of the Safer Buildings Coalition. However, there are technologies and solutions that can be used if industry and public safety work together to make this issue a priority, he adds. Perdue notes industry needs to work harder to increase awareness of in-building communication issues.
