The consumer health technology market is expected to boom in 2014 with more products focused on data tracking to assess health, such as smart clothes that analyze heart rate and activity, and a device that scans food to detect gluten and pesticides. Virtual house calls will also become more popular, allowing doctors to offer medical advice via online video chat.
