Hospice nurses have important roles in patient care, from driving interdisciplinary care plans to palliative symptom control, helping families cope and supporting patients' quality of life. "Hospice is about living. We want to make the best of every day we have, no matter how many days we have left," said registered nurse Lynn Von der Linden of Barnabas Health Hospice and Palliative Care Center in West Orange, N.J.
