Pa. chef uses school lunch menus to teach sustainable eating

Chef Allie Hauptman at Friends School Haverford in Pennsylvania says she cooks student meals using fresh produce from local farms and lets students help prepare some foods to get them excited about sustainable eating. Last year the school began offering weekly community lunches, and Hauptman says she often focuses on plant-based menus.
