Where money is involved, 3D printing gets mixed reviews

3D printing is getting a lot of positive attention from manufacturers, but in the financial sector, opinions are split. Some see the technology as on the verge of rapid expansion. But analyst James Kim at Nomura Equity Research joins the skeptics, saying "we think there is excessive market optimism in 3D printing, given uncertain growth potential in the consumer market and a lack of mass-production capability."
