Wis. proposal calls for daily exercise in elementary school

A state lawmaker in Wisconsin has proposed legislation that would require elementary-school students to have at least 30 minutes each day of physical education. While some officials have raised concerns over the plan, questioning how to fit in more time for exercise as well as the cost associated with the schedule change, others support the move, intended to help combat childhood obesity.
