Supreme Court Allows Florida Rule On Religious "Messages"

The U.S. Supreme Court Dec. 10 refused to hear a challenge to a Duval County, Fla., school board rule allowing selected students to deliver religious speeches during graduation ceremonies. The school board allows students to choose their own topic, whether it's religious or secular. The court's decision could induce a spate of copycat rulings by school boards nationwide.
