Nurses can pick pay, shifts eBay-style

In the latest twist in attracting nurses, some hospitals are offering online shift bidding where nurses can bid on a shift and set their own asking price. Through bidding, hospitals can save labor costs by using fewer outside nurses, while letting their own nurses control when they work and how much they earn.
