Despite Fed inflation concerns, investors expect rate cuts

Even though Fed Chairman Ben S. Bernanke has remained steadfast in expressing his concerns on inflation, many investors are convinced interest rate cuts are in the foreseeable future. Inflation could cause the Fed to actually increase rates, which in turn would dampen growth and hurt both the bond and stock markets, one Lehman Brothers analyst says.
