Stadium sponsors getting more than signs for their investments

The Indianapolis Colts are among the teams taking stadium sponsorships to a whole new level, with their new facility offering gas pumps sponsored by Lucas Oil, airplane seats in the AirTran Airways food court and displays of appliances from a local store and cars from Chevrolet. "In today's world of a very crowded advertising marketplace, it's very important for facilities to provide the brands and companies they're associating with a lot more than just signs and tickets," said David Abrutyn, senior vice president for consulting at IMG Worldwide.
