Employers can help workers avoid identity theft

Identity theft is increasing because of bogus Web sites and phishing attempts, and employers may be affected as employees are forced to take time away from work to deal with it if they become victims, experts warn. Companies should be proactive and educate workers about such crimes and how to avoid them, they advise.
