Large, small firms differ on expectations for recovery

BusinessWeek columnist John Tozzi compared surveys of NFIB membership and Business Roundtable CEOs about expectations for hiring, capital spending and sales. Tozzi concludes that big businesses are expecting a bigger rebound because their cutbacks were more severe during the recession while small firms shed fewer jobs and are still waiting to see sales grow.
