Study finds survival benefit for chemo in breast cancer

A study showed that chemotherapy in addition to tamoxifen can help prevent cancer recurrence in postmenopausal women with estrogen-receptor positive breast cancers. A second study showed the gene-based test Oncotype DX can help identify a small group of women who are not likely to benefit from chemotherapy.
