Study: Higher sea levels imperil 20 million Bangladeshis

As many as 20 million Bangladeshis will be threatened as sea levels rise by 18% during the next 40 years, a study by the Dhaka-based Institute of Water Modelling. The study's authors call for $4.2 billion to build embankments and create forests along low-lying coastal areas.
