Veterinarian helps rescue mistreated animals worldwide

When animals are neglected and mistreated in foreign countries, it's their lucky day if veterinarian Bruce Langlois of the Global Veterinary Assistance Team happens to be in the country teaching local veterinarians or running spay-neuter clinics. That's because Dr. Langlois, generous donors and animal lovers such as Janelle McFarlane, who founded and runs Hearts of Hope Dog Rescue, work together to bring such animals, who otherwise have little hope of survival, to the U.S. for a better chance at a loving home.
