Accor Hotels will focus on Indonesia for growth in SE Asia

Accor Hotels has announced that it has selected Indonesia to drive its growth in the Southeast Asian region. Robert Murray, Accor's chief operating officer in Northeast and Southeast Asia, says the company is looking to increase its portfolio in the country from 55 to 94 properties. Plans call for 11 hotel openings in Jakarta and 20 new properties in smaller cities such as Bandung, Serpong, Samarinda and Makassar.
