AMR's restructuring is "essentially complete," CEO says

With new labor contracts in place for its unionized workers, American Airlines parent company AMR is nearing the end of its bankruptcy restructuring, CEO Thomas Horton said in an interview. Details regarding the company's capital structure and a possible merger with US Airways Group remain to be worked out, but Horton said he expects the company to emerge from bankruptcy soon.
